Banksia’s are Australian wildflowers and Western Australia has over 150 unique species. They range in size from small shrubs to 30 meters tall and can produce large quantities of nectar, crucial for our bees in winter time.
Over 90% of all Banksia species occur ONLY in the south western area of Western Australia.
At the same time of the year many of Western Australia’s 12,500 species of wildflowers (7500 are unique to WA) also flower and this helps create our honey with incredible combinations of flavour, colour and natural benefits.
